Let's Get This Party Started!  Decades Music Theme Park Gets Nod from Governor; It's More Than a Feelin' - Rock'n'Roll Fantasy is Closer to Reality than Ever

PHOENIX, ARIZONA. JUNE 27, 2008-Governor Janet Napolitano signed Senate Bill 1450 into law today. The bill allows for the creation of a regional attraction district in Pinal County that paves the way for Decades Music Theme Park to “sow the seeds of love” in Arizona.

The park, which features attractions and rides that reflects Rock’n’Roll’s progression from the ‘50s through today, will be built in Eloy. The town, which has plentiful land that can be used to build the park and surrounding accommodations, is located a few short miles from the I-10/I-8 interchange – giving it access to Phoenix, Tucson and the Southern California market.

The Decades Music Theme Park team is proud that the state that helped produce incredible musical acts such as Marty Robbins, Alice Cooper, Rex Allen Jr., Stevie Nicks, Linda Ronstadt, The Tubes, Waylon Jennings, The Meat Puppets, CeCe Peniston, The Gin Blossoms, The Pistoleros, Linkin Park and Jimmy Eat World will get a chance to not only pay tribute to them but every other significant musical act of the last 60 years.

Industry leaders in the fields of theme park development, rock music, concert promotion, radio and electric guitars have all voiced their support for Decades Music Theme Park. Additionally, thousands of people from around the country - and from various parts of the world - showed their support by writing to the Arizona legislature and the Arizona Governor’s Office, telling them of their intention to visit Arizona if Decades is built.
