NOTE TO OUR SUPPORTERS:  Get Ready to Rock

May 20, 2008-As Arizona's legislative session winds down we're more optimistic than ever about gearing up. And we wanted to say thank you. Thank you for showing your support for Decades Music Theme Park. Thank you for writing state legislators at key moments in time. And thank you for writing letters to Arizona newspapers.

It has all made a very big difference. Passage of Senate Bill 1450 is necessary to make Decades a reality.

A final vote in the State Senate is just a short time away (we are told that 'good things come to those who wait'). We previously passed the Senate 17-11, as well as the Arizona House of Representatives 39-17. We are going back to the Senate because of an amendment made to the bill while it was in the House.

We remain optimistic about SB 1450 passing the Senate again before it will go to Governor Janet Napolitano for consideration. At her January, 2003 inauguration Gov. Napolitano chose U2's "Beautiful Day" to animate the festivities. We're hopeful she will again create a beautiful day at the State Capitol by signing the Decades bill.
