Becky Hill

President, Hill Advocacy

 

A graduate of Arizona State University, Ms. Hill began her Capitol career as an intern and research staffer for the Arizona House of Representatives.  After two sessions in the House, she went to the League of Arizona Cities and Towns where she later became the Director of Legislative Affairs. In 2002, she served as the Director of State and Congressional Affairs for the State Superintendent of Public Instruction.

Ms. Hill most recently served on Governor Janet Napolitano’s staff.  In 2003, she joined the Governor as a member of the lobbying team and served three years as her Education Policy Advisor.  In addition to state and national policy development work for Governor Napolitano, Ms. Hill’s efforts included grassroots organization, consensus building and legislative advocacy. She represented the Governor at local events, including televised town halls, and at national meetings around the country.

Having served elected officials from both major political parties and lobbied at all levels of government has allowed Ms. Hill to work with leaders and elected officials from all walks of life and political points of view. Her unique experiences have given her an expertise in public advocacy and the skills needed to impact change. Her contacts in cities and towns, statewide and nationally, give Ms. Hill broad access on a wide range of issues including taxation, health, water and transportation, budget matters, and education and workforce development. 

Ms. Hill’s client portfolio includes the banking and finance industries, education, and technology interests. Services include legislative and regulatory advocacy, policy development and community outreach.
