For over 25 years, Mr. DuVal has been involved in state, federal and foreign policy, with a particular focus on health care, education, economic development and natural resources. He is currently president of a consulting firm, DuVal and Associates, a consulting firm focusing on intergovernmental relations. He served as senior staff to former Arizona Governor Bruce Babbitt where he was responsible for legislative programs, spent seven years in the Clinton Administration in Washington D.C., and served as a Presidential appointee to the Board of Directors of the Inter-American Foundation. Regent DuVal authored a book entitled, "Calling Arizona Home," which examines what brought us all to Arizona and how we relate to this place we call home. He currently serves on the Arizona Board of Regents and the Board of the Children's Action Alliance and previously served on the boards of the Udall Center for Public Policy, Prescott College, Desert Botanical Garden, and Valley Big Brothers/Big Sisters.
